Inside the house, the creatures of the homo sapiens species – who will be known as the Pink Feet – were rude-wording a lot. Especially the female who had what many might call a potty mouth! She was having a bit of a melt-down. Their last cat had died a few months before. Although it was difficult, after three decades of having cats in the house they decided that they would not have any more cats because their hearts needed time to heal.
But they also knew that humans have very little say in the matter. Cats choose their people. All their cats had been ‘walk-ins’. They knew that there was no way they could leave this feral duo out in the bush where their lives would be pretty damn nasty. The cats needed to be sterilised to avoid more feral cats being born into a life of hardship and starvation. They needed a home. It would not be easy. These two were WILD. Gaining the trust of a feral cat is a daunting task . They had to give it a try – there was no other option.
There was no doubt about it, the Pink Feet were Cat-Cornered. And the female Pink Foot had an inkling that there might be some Puma magic afoot that attracted the feline energy. Only a week to two before she had been doing an online Puma Magic exercise with Peruvian Shaman don Oscar Miro-Quesada on The Shift Network. Cat magic was in the air
Puma Symbolism
Known as Puma, Cougar or Mountain Lion, this is the biggest cat of the wild frontiers. Puma tells us to tap into our hearts, because only love can heal the world. Use your higher mind, your inner power, trust your instincts, climb higher, make a choice, take charge of your life – develop your intuition and psychic abilities. Puma wants you to know that you are on the right path, and you are experiencing the situations that you need most for your evolution. Be aware of the bigger picture and know that all experiences serve their purpose.
Recognise your true potential, unique skills and natural gifts, and use them to achieve what you want in life. Be appreciated for who you are. Release all limiting fears. Puma emphasises wisdom and leadership qualities – show your strength, come into your power. Puma tells you that your role in life is to lead people to a better place. Walk your talk and lead by example. Silent, patient and watchful, Puma waits for the right moment to pounce, the right time to take control, to lead.
Follow Puma’s steady, careful intention and guidance, and keep your mind and spirit clear so that you make the best choices. Opportunities will open to you. You will know when to act and take the right steps that will lead you to your purpose.
Puma bestows bravery, adaptability and inner fortitude, and shows you the way to release your true voice and inner warrior. The fiercely protective Puma makes the perfect guardian.
DON OSCAR MIRO-QUESADA
Peruvian Maestro Curandero, Psychologist, Author and one of the world’s foremost teachers of Universal Shamanism, don Oscar Miro-Quesada is a popular faculty member at The Shift Network as well as in educational centres in the USA and further abroad. He has dedicated his life to the revitalisation of aboriginal wisdom traditions as a means of restoring sacred trust between humankind and the natural world.
He says: “Within each moment there is a deeper wisdom lying just under the surface. This wisdom connects you intimately with both Earth and Sky. It bridges the inner and outer worlds so that you may see more clearly the truth of all things, and it expands your capacity to connect and to heal — for yourself and for others around you.
“By learning to nurture this deeper wisdom and expanding your awareness of your interdependence with the great sacred web of life, you become a master of the present moment, standing strong in heart and vision, able to meet each situation with confidence and resolve.
“In the Andean shamanic traditions, the Puma symbolizes just this — the power of tapping into the universal wisdom and using it to transform your current and future situations.
Using shamanic techniques for working with animal totems, you can access the wisdom and power of the Puma, thereby opening yourself to new possibilities for living with expanded presence and healing grace in the world”.
On The Shift Network, don Oscar shares insights and practical techniques for how you can embody the transformational “medicine” of the Puma and live in balance, harmony and reverence upon Mother Earth, even in these modern and chaotic times.
The ultimate aim of The Shift Network is to upgrade our human operating system in order to co-create a healthy, peaceful, sustainable, just and prosperous world, and accelerate the shift to a world where each and every one of us has the opportunity to awaken to and liberate our full creative potential. and collaborate on the changes that are needed for our world to truly shift.

Well my dear pink foot,I look forward to hearing more adventures of these skwattakatz!!
I ACTUALLY DONT KNOW WHO IS THE LUCKIEST ONE …THE CATS OR YOU ????
I love the puma magic image! There’s a lion in every skwattakat, no doubt about it. Some skwattakatz may have a wild horse or an eagle in them, I wouldn’t be surprised.
